Full Moon in Libra April 6, 2012 ? Aloha Astro

Goodby Mercury retrograde in Aries, hello full moon in Libra! Have the last few weeks been as intense for you as they have for me? Even though the Mercury retrograde is behind me, I still feel like I must tread carefully, especially when it comes to issues of relationship. The temptation to extend my hiatus from the Internet to the date when retrograde Mars also turns direct, which is April 14th, is strong, but the sudden increase I have in requests for readings this week made me decide to return to my usual horoscope posting routine. People are able to look ahead toward the future, now that Mercury moves ahead. The key words that came to me when I was reviewing the retro energy of the last few weeks are ?primal? and ?selfish?. By turning away from the electronic world as much as possible, I reconnected to the wonder of nature and my garden and spent pleasant hours in my own head. That is the primal part, and I hope you have used the energy of Mercury retrograde in Aries to re-connect with the essential ?you? and not all the images of who you should be and advertisements of what you should buy being fed to you daily. In terms of selfishness, I see a lot of people caught up in Aries ?me ? me? drama. There is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself or pursuing what you want, but I see people thinking about themselves with no consideration of others and expecting others to see things their way, too, or attempting to control people or situations that just aren?t their business. If you have any kind of relationship that is out of balance now, this Libra full moon may bring things to a head. Be prepared for anything and don?t make any assumptions. Communicate peacefully, respectfully, and clearly with other people. Besides the intensity of a full moon, which can bring culminations or endings, the planet of affection and pleasure ? Venus ? in the curious, restless, friendly but childlike sign of Gemini, is stressed right now. When I think of Venus in Gemini, I see iridescent rainbow bubbles floating in the air. When I look at the square between Venus in Gemini and Mars in Virgo, the square between Venus and Neptune in Pisces, and the opposition between Mars in Virgo and Neptune in Pisces (yep, it?s a T-square) I see those bubbles bursting. Mercury retro may be history, but our dreams and plans may still be on hold, due to this T-square, which increases the chance for disappointment, difficulty and discord, especially in romance or creativity. There is another challenging T-square today that involves potent Pluto in success driven Capricorn, that involves the moon in Libra and the sun in Aries. Possible struggles of power and control and finger pointing over commitments, contracts or expectations between people are the most likely scenario. Issues of me/you and the established structure or agreements between us, may bring the emotional equivalent of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. No matter what area of your chart the sun, moon and Pluto are affecting now, the main focus is finding the balance that serves both individuals best and bringing new form and structure, even if it means destroying what has been. Check to see where the sun and moon are for you below, and also check for your rising sign, also called the ascendant, for best accuracy.

By now you may be wishing I had extended my online absence! So what is GOOD in the heavens? Well, Pluto trines Jupiter in Taurus and Mars in Virgo ? so ?make hay while the sun shines?. Hard work and determined effort yield money or help you meet your material needs. Saturn in Libra trine Neptune in Pisces can give you patience when dealing with people who are not where you are right now emotionally or who need some extra compassion. It can also help you accept the end result of a relationship shift, whether it is to your liking right now or not., And finally, a sextile aspect between Venus in Gemini and Uranus in Aries whispers that change or a fresh start is for the best. Consider the opportunities that personal freedom may bring.
